Thanks:) A day without a Pratchett reference is a day wasted...

"get your shoes for a few bucks at a flea market stall, the chances are you'll be buying them again real soon. Cheaply made, poor-quality items may save you a few bucks in the short term, but you'll only have to pay more later to replace them."

would be extra-awesome if the script was done in polish that changed colour when exposed to heat...

Did you see him in Rome? HELLO.

Rob Lowe but only if he would role-play as Sam Seaborn. Otherwise, Brad Pitt all the way.

The public health care system is the default here, and close to free at the hospital level - if not brought by ambulance, you might have to pay a once-off fee of €50-70. Private healthcare basically gets you: access to private/semi-private rooms in public hospitals; reimbursement for things like physiotherapy,

Exactly what I came here to say - her tweets also said that she "didn't want to go to hospital" which is (fortunately or not) probably the quickest place to access emergency mental health care here.

Yep. I think I once channelled the Wicked Witch in how loud I was yelling "It burrnnnsss!!". Aim is key.

I am amused by the little girl's bad-assness, but also, zoos creep me out, so I just ended up feeling sorry for the lion...

Ha. I was 20 when that happened to me, I must be behind the times:)

The cough is often the last thing to go (post-viral cough), but I was diagnosed with a form of asthma after the above-mentioned incident and given inhalers. Might be worth a visit back to your GP if you can?

I have coughed so much I vomited (thanks, asthma!) I was a little disgusted, but mainly I was annoyed that I didn't really have time to digest those mashed potatoes.

    In the pants.

What, no love for Dieux de Stade?

    oh, yeah. Hate those places:(

    My thoughts exactly.

The WoW ship came to Dublin a few years back but wasn't allowed to dock.

Women on Web will also send it to you if you live in a country where abortion is illegal.

Yes, but your comment implied that seeing a doctor to get a D&C was a good idea after miscarriage/abortion, and it isn't always. A doctor's visit - even 'just in case' might not be available, affordable, or safe for every woman - like the article says, we don't live in that world.

A D&C isn't mandatory for every miscarriage or abortion - it depends on the gestation, when the pregnancy ended, any signs of infection, tolerance of side-effects, whether products of conception need to be tested, and the woman's own preference.
