I think I've reached Maximum Penis Capacity.

    Well now I HAVE to.

This is what I had always heard: that co-ed was academically better for boys, but worse for girls. I certainly found a single-sex girls' secondary school much better than my co-ed primary (and it wasn't a private school, or allowed to pick its students).

That's very true. Though in this case, I think the implication is that they would have died without the surgery.

Ireland - Australia yesterday. 15-6 oh yeah.

What, nothing from the Rugby World Cup? Happening right now in NZ...

Any ideas for an old laptop with a fried graphics card? I've removed the hard drive already...

It doesn't mean that their ideas are wrong or their work is not valuable. I'm not sure what your point is here.

That quote is what made me buy the book. I laughed so hard. I would totally be that kind of mother.

    Clearly just stupid...

Yes, I'm assuming most women would be getting enough calories. Also AFAIK, the placental problems associated with miscarriage are chromosomal and/or due to clotting disorders, and being overweight is associated with a higher risk of miscarriage, so I'd be surprised if low calorie intake on its own had an impact.

If you haven't already, read up on hyperemesis gravidarum, and switch doctors.

I pay full price in Ireland, and it's €24 for three months. I see my doctor once a year for €55, total, €151/year (and I can claim tax back on both). Worse than the NHS, sure, but a damn sight better than the US it seems!

I can't help thinking her hip shouldn't go that way.

"extremely sit-on-able face" is the new "handsome".

we can get a roll of tape each. I'll take the mouth.

Does anyone have any spare duct tape that I can put over Dr. Drew's mouth? And then wrap around his typing fingers? And then use to seal the box I put him in where he can spend his time thinking about what a giant unprofessional exploitative twatwad he is?

Exactly what I was taught - and in our culture(s), it's especially difficult for women, who are more likely to freeze than run. My instructor would have us all get physically angry by whatever means necessary, and to pay attention to the difference in our hits. No comparison.
