@florabore: absolutely. Luckily, the one time I had to take it, my med student sister had already filched some for me so I had it on hand. It's still pretty pricey at €45 but still cheaper than a GP visit and a damn sight more convenient.

Apparently there is a legal wording issue:the Abortion Act only licenses abortions at hospitals or clinic; therefore taking the second pill at home could be regarded as performing the abortion at home.
