When you turn the 3D function off you're same as a DSi screen so who cares about the bump in resolution if you wont use it? Question here is if 3D is not wanted as Bash says, does it worth buying the console? As a 3DS owner I regret my purchase decision.

I strongly disagree. The only "hook" of this product was its 3D feature and none of the other improvements makes it purchase worthy over a DSi.

Brian, if you're totally dissing the 3D feature how can you recommend the console with 3D being its only notable difference compared to its predecessor? These consoles are not cheap and with all due respect we don't get reimbursed like you when we purchase them.

When I read this I realized that since I started gaming back in mid 80s I never went backwards and played my old games. Seems when I beat a game or a new iteration comes out I move on and never look back.

iPhone has a case already and it's the glass and metal stuff around it. People should not buy cases to cover their phones. They will need a new phone before they can destroy their current one. This case particularly is the definition of overkill.
