There is no effing way that the PS4 GPU is equal to a 7950 (which isn't even a great card right now). Optimization doesn't change the physical properties of the die, and even still the mediocre CPU is going to be a huge throttle point. For $300 you can get a video card that would blow the PS4 out of the water.

You can pay $1500 for a PC that will play games on Ultra at 1440 and 120 fps, then get $3000 worth of games for $500. Over time there's no doubt that PC becomes cheaper, assuming you buy a lot of games, of course.
