Wouldn't get a chance to drown myself. I'd probably rip a few off too close to the campfire and burn myself to a crisp if I were on an all beans diet.

True that. I leave my MagSafe in my office most days and when needed plug into my wife's, which usually stays in the living room. I could see a converter being useful if I were to upgrade before her. I'm sure this would be very useful in multi-Mac households.
"Look Ursula, it has your name on it."
They do, but if for some reason your new power adapter gets messed up (say, perchance, by a beagle puppy that thinks it's a toy) and you have an old one laying around, with the $10 converter you don't have to spend a lot to buy a new adapter for $80. Or, perhaps you want to leave an old adapter plugged in at a desk…
Meh, I was excited when news of this came out, but I'm underwhelmed. One of the best advantages of this camera is that it is compatible with the cannon lens ecosystem, which will make it an instant sell for many. However, 4.3fps is hardly "blazing" the nex-5n will do 10. There's a lack of manual controls that other…
Unless your thread happens to not be one of the first ten and then THE DISCUSSION STAGNATETH.
I have to wear glasses to be able to enjoy a regular TV (and everything else for that matter). Thus, I run into a problem with 3D TVs that require me to wear an extra set of glasses, it just doesn't work for me (two pairs of glasses on at the same time is more than a little silly). I most likely would not buy a…
I agree. It seems much less invasive of personal privacy than body scanners, and I don't see how it will go all Minority Report on people and identify individuals by name, ssn, etc., and tie them in with their molecular readings as a large group, it's not like it includes a retina scanner to go along with. I'm pretty…
Came here to make the same thing. In Texas it's coke, which usually means a Dr Pepper is ordered.
I hope I'm not posting something someone has already said, but because there is NO FUCKING WAY that I will click through 138 replies to this post (please read that this new commenting system is abysmal), I'm going to make my point anyway.
I feel much the same. I hate accessing my email through the web. Desktop clients are the way to go for me, all your email accounts in one easily accessable place.
I DVR sporting events. I do prefer to watch live, but sometimes I'm not able to, and am very happy that the DVR is around.I just don't look at scores and ask people to not tell me, and it works pretty well, plus you don't have to watch commercials.
What's the difference between a bad golfer and a bad base jumper?
Two Things:
You can always get metal skewers. No splinters there
One exception to that. Put a slice of onion or bell pepper between your cubes of steak...yum!
I have all the answers you need.
I'm not trying to argue here, just trying to make a correction. I happen to own a model 60 myself and it is not a bolt action (bolt actions require you to manually cycle the bolt after each shot). If you don't trust my word on it, take a look at Wikipedia.
Hey baby, is that a phone in your pocket or are you just happ...crap...phone.
Thank you for that link. It made my day! Truly badass.
