Didn't know about the hormone treatment. Shocking!

Thanks for the great article. Exercising to clear the mind is a great tip. I find getting to the gym is not an easy task for various reasons. Once I get there I like to get the most out of my exercise and keep myself motivated to go back.

Couldn't agree more. I'm a recovering finance and strategy professional.

No. I haven't come across it before. Will check it out. Thank you very much

Cool. I wasn't aware of the site.

I go through the job description and write a cover letter outlining my work experience against each main points on the JD.

I've used 1Password on my mac to create a 50 character wifi password.

I so totally agree on the single tasking. I think multi tasking is one of the worst things that have happened to humans in the recent past. It's productivity is only mythical as far as I'm concerned.

Training your brain like a monk is a brilliant idea. I tend to do that all the time. I use a mindfulness practice which has helped me immensely.

Good to know that it does work.

Thanks for taking the time to respond to my comment.

Great article. Thanks.

It's a very interesting point. Societies tend to discourage arrogance or self aggrandisement ... which is something accepting of compliments is seen to be akin to.

Brilliant article! Thanks.

I love the point about rebooting your office every evening. That's my Achilles heel and the one I need to stay on top of.

Just the other week I was interviewing for a one month consulting assignment ... and the interviewer asked me why my resume had only consulting assignments on it for the last 2 years (as opposed to permanent roles) ... Pretty stupid question to ask a consultant that you're interviewing for a one month consulting

I tend to close with "I look forward to meeting with you in person to discuss in further detail how I can provide excellent value to your organisation. I can be contacted on ..."

Cool thanks for the informative reply. Much appreciated.

I use Wunderlist all the time. Beautiful app. The only problem is that it doesn't allow me to use the project management aspects and context aspects that Omnifocus lets me use.
