While I agree with everything you said, I have one thing to add.

This can be broadly attributed to movies in general right now - mostly generic blockbusters, few chances to be taken, etc. There’s only so many Taikas and Favreaus (and Rians) out there, itching to put their vision into a franchise, and plenty of “good enoughs” that pump out movies that fit an overall narrative and

The reason I still have my GameCube is HM: AWL and HM: Magical Melody, the latter being my most favorite of the HM games.

I wish they would make a high fidelity 2D Harvest Moon (Story of Seasons?) that was as moddable as Stardew Valley. I like SV but the art leaves me missing the HMs that you mentioned but they also feel so limited in content.

Yeah, I smile from a distance at Stardew news and think “that’s really nice for them, I hope they enjoy that” while I sit here with my fingers and toes crossed that the AWL remake doesn’t suck horribly.

Come on folks, it was all just a big yoke. They’re sorry for steering people in the wrong direction.

Looks like it’s going through then. Well, fingers crossed Microsoft are able to actually manage this studio because their track record hasn’t been amazing as of late. I sincerely hope this doesn’t have the impact on gaming that I worry it does.

Good.

I have been saying this from the moment sony started crying about call of duty. It’s way to large of a franchise to remove from the playstation ecosystem. It would not be profitable to do that.

Worth it. I have had mine next to my PS5 for over a year and love it at the full price.

At this rate, it’ll end up on AliExpress sold by Lepin or Sembo before LEGO has a chance to officially release it

odds are the parents neither know how much damage that social media stes are doing to their children, or just don’t care...the number of parents i see just hand over their electronic devices to placate/distract their children is overwhelming.

Gosh, I still haven’t gotten over Gen Z’s snide entitlement masking itself as woke righteousness.

Billy was shown/developed as a rough around the edges, mature for his age kid, who spoke low and serious.... and Levi played him like a typical goofy, aloof 12 year old.

Or Wesley is really Picard’s kid.  Which would be predictable but infuriating.

Reminds me of an old STARLOG cartoon where Wesley is looking in the mirror at his thinning hairline and Picard is standing behind him, saying, “Er, Wesley, there’s something Beverly and I have been meaning to tell you...”

“raised by the internet” point speaks more to some people having or developing a warped sense of reality versus everyone raised by the internet are odd (at least that’s how I took it). Recently more and more people are just finding what they want to hear or see. Living on the internet means you can just turn off the

why not Ac2: Another Age?

Came here to say exactly that, pretty obnoxious.
