The reason I still have my GameCube is HM: AWL and HM: Magical Melody, the latter being my most favorite of the HM games.

I wish they would make a high fidelity 2D Harvest Moon (Story of Seasons?) that was as moddable as Stardew Valley. I like SV but the art leaves me missing the HMs that you mentioned but they also feel so limited in content.
Yeah, I smile from a distance at Stardew news and think “that’s really nice for them, I hope they enjoy that” while I sit here with my fingers and toes crossed that the AWL remake doesn’t suck horribly.
Come on folks, it was all just a big yoke. They’re sorry for steering people in the wrong direction.
Looks like it’s going through then. Well, fingers crossed Microsoft are able to actually manage this studio because their track record hasn’t been amazing as of late. I sincerely hope this doesn’t have the impact on gaming that I worry it does.
Good.
I have been saying this from the moment sony started crying about call of duty. It’s way to large of a franchise to remove from the playstation ecosystem. It would not be profitable to do that.
Worth it. I have had mine next to my PS5 for over a year and love it at the full price.
At this rate, it’ll end up on AliExpress sold by Lepin or Sembo before LEGO has a chance to officially release it
“raised by the internet” point speaks more to some people having or developing a warped sense of reality versus everyone raised by the internet are odd (at least that’s how I took it). Recently more and more people are just finding what they want to hear or see. Living on the internet means you can just turn off the…
why not Ac2: Another Age?
It’s unfortunate, but the reality is, is that I unironically come to Kotaku for what an idiot’s take is. They do have the odd article that informs me of something I did not know about, and simply need to subtract all the stupid stuff from the article in my mind, and I derive value through that (and sometimes, there…
Came here to say exactly that, pretty obnoxious.
Look, I’m forward-thinking - I accept that people like her didn’t choose to celebrate christmas, and that they were just born that way. What I don’t understand is why they just have to be so flamboyant about it. Like, can’t you do your christmas stuff behind closed doors, and not throw it in all of our faces? I’m…
Right?!
My dad is a far-from-perfect human but he treated my sister and I as good as he would have any son and never whined about things like buying bras or picking up pads and tampons. I had an ex who told me my dad (who could also be an emotionally-abusive alcoholic who my ex also claimed left me with “daddy issues”)…
My ex cheated on me, and I never said a word about the woman he cheated me with UNTIL she inserted herself into my life. About 2 months after I found out, she messaged me and demanded that I sign the divorce papers. So I blame my ex 100% for stepping out, but I have also talked a lot of shit about the other woman…
Thank you—and thanks Mike, rest well, you made a lot of people happy. Truly Fahey was the best of us.

I’ve seen this sentiment on few posts (most statements with far more acidity than yours) and don’t think I can let it go by unaddressed any longer: I assure you the site is not ignoring Mike’s devastating passing. Grief doesn’t operate on a timeline. Mike was crucial figure in many of our lives—in my mind, the most…
I know writers don’t control the blog but Still no mention of Fahey, huh? Really sad to see Polygon report it first (even if most Kotaku old guard work there now).
