I think there are RSS feed apps on facebook. I have used Social RSS to publish twitter feeds to Facebook. It worked well, but was slow to update. It was a while ago so they may have updated it, or I may just have set it up incorrectly (I am guilty of having a limited amount of patience with these things) and of course

@mmseng There should be a 'like' button so I can 'like' your comment :)

Agreed, although I'd settle for the death of IE6.

Amen to that. Chrome makes me feel like I'm watching the Disney channel with my daughter. It's not a browser for grown ups.

None of it looks real to me. I'm slightly confused as to why Lifehacker would feature a clearly fictional workspace. Pixar do a much better job.

@LuckyLymon: I agree, however the original articles over on the Psychology Today website all note that these are not definitive ways of catching someone in a lie. The 'well' technique combined with a number of other techniques can help to catch someone who is lying, but they do stress that it's impossible to be sure -

Am I being dense, or is there no close button in the top right corner?

I recently looked at putting Windows 7 on my 2 year old Sony laptop, only to be told by Sony themselves (after much searching) that they only support drivers for the operating system that the laptop has installed from new. Most - but not all - of the Vista drivers worked anyway, but I thought it was rather short

@StormtrooprDave: Dave, could it simply be the extra strain on both caused by using two monitors?

VOTE: DisplayFusion

Well, I'm going to stick my neck out here and say I like it.

@Alessar: I think I understand now, but in all honesty I don't know much about fonts. Would a font manager/browser help? There may be a freeware version out there somewhere.

@Alessar: By default the menu bar is hidden in WMP12. For the fileopen command, right click on the top part of the MP12 window, to the right of the forward and back buttons, and a drop down menu will appear. You can also choose 'show menu bar' at this point to ensure the command remains available for future use.

I simply can't see the point. Apple have left out a lot of things that they will undoubtedly include in iPad 2.0, 3.0 etc... But even with those things added on unless it changes drastically it's still a gimmick at best.

I think a large part of the satisfaction can be attributed to the way they allowed people to test their new operating system for them. I personally was very happy that they gave us the public beta and the RC as a free download. By the time it came to paying for it, I already knew what I was getting for my money.
