When young turtles and rats mutated by human chemical waste can walk hand in hand...
I actually am one of those idiots who buys a $500 piece of electronics and can't wait a full year before snapping the damn thing open, just to see what's inside. I don't know why I do it, or what I gain from it (other than the geeky sense that I'm looking at something beautiful).
No, but I remeber when they all wore red! Thus defined by their personal characteristics (and weapon choice) as opposed to color...
My entire childhood was divided into distinct phases. A few months I'd play with TMNT, and a few months I'd play with LEGOs. This oscillation continued until around the age of 10, when the amount of time I'd play with LEGOs slowly started to increase at the expense of TMNT, until finally, it was solely LEGOs that…
Your system works only when one assumes generally bad products are never made and sold. And I don't think something can be called science if it's evidence begins with "if you think about it". Lol
Where the hell is the story? Jesus christ, I suppose this is the inevitable end point with blogs. Devolving into Twitter. Cudos Gawker, constantly setting new standards for underappreciating readers.
Usually, "internet", but that is on the rare occasion I actually refer to it as an entity in and of itself. Again, it's so inmeshed I rarely have to specifically say "go online" or "go on the internet". I just say "check IMDB" or "did you see that article on Giz?".
I actually saw "netizens" as perfect in the situation because it seems antiquated to me. Like when an old dude calls it the "world wide web" or "the net". That may just be me, but whenever I hear "net" or any derivative, I automatically think of 56k, AOL, buddy lists, Comic Sans, and Sandra Bullock with a huge ass…
That buldge is nowhere near big enough for all the cords, the jack, and the button/mic!
Haha, no biggie.
Apple USED to always do something different. The one thing Apple could use, IMO, is a big reboot like this. iOS is getting very, very stale.
Technically, it was hundreds of years later...
I'd like it for the (seeming) ability to carry the earbuds around with it, but who else thinks they just cut the actual buds off a regular pair to make it look like they fit in there?
I'm at a loss, fill me in!
Damn straight!
No, they incorporated pen computing into Vista and 7. Even on non-touch capable Windows devices, if you dig a little, you can find the "Tablet PC Input" control stuff. I have an HP TX2500 from circa 2007, and this stuff is a major reason why it works so well for my needs. The handwriting recognition capabilities…
Such an elegant commenting system, isn't it? lol
I'm all for visions of the technology future, but, is it me, or does this make it sound like Apple is ushering in this new era of input (voice)?
