I want you to come to Huntsville. Take a tour of the museums, of Marshall, of the city. Speak to the thousands of still living people who lived and breathed Mercury, Gemeni, and Apollo for years. And when that doesn't change your mind, I'll introduce you to Buzz Aldrin (he should be in town at some point during the

Hell yes Duplos count! Little kids will swallow some LEGOS (In fact, pretty sure I still have one or two 1x2s embedded in my lower intestine).

Ah, good description. Wish that were included in the article! I bet it is hard to find any big for-profit company that trusts open-source. Does AMD support Linux? Creative? Again, just curious. You are on to something about forcing the niche thing. To extrapolate, if I may, it sounds like them not supporting

I built an HTPC too!!!

It won't be the courier. That baby was aborted. But hopefully it shares some DNA!

PixelSense is amazing! But hell, just look at the handwriting recognition in Windows Vista/7! I have THE WORST handwriting, and after setting up the recognition on my TouchSmart, it works at like 99%!

True, but still. It may come in handy. I mean, the iPad has docking stations. It is something people will want. I am just after a true notebook replacement.

As far as pilot headaches, no HUD or nav system could adequately deal with the bitch that would be taxi-ing this thing on a busy runway!

So then, this article is about desktop OS's? If the chips are used on Android devices, then at least they are providing some support for Lynux. So I will tweak my original comment:

"No docking solutions, no bloatware, no stylus. Just Word and Excel and PowerPoint. That's it. You're done."

If, when I was younger, my Dad's idea of a perfect Father's Day was to go to the Lego store and buy a whole bunch of shit, then sit and build them with me, I'd be a lot less screwed up than I am now!

I would assume (from the looks of it) it would take up two terminals?

I shat myself earlier in the day as my mind wandered. Microsoft has been sneakily trying to revive the MediaCenter PC idea through the XBox, and this would just extend it to mobile devices. If they end up adding PVR to the 720 as rumored, I'll end up in the ER with a persistant erection. Let's just hope that they

Wait - we are talking mobile here? As far as Desktop OS's go, Linux IS a niche.

I think it's less about IP and more straight cost/benefit. To develop for Linux would take a substantial amount of money with very very little payoff. They aren't going to see their bottom line shoot up because niche customers finally might buy their hardware.

But Linux IS a niche!
