Well Ferrari was a race team before it was ever a car manufacturer. Enzo is famous for saying that he didn't really give a shit about the road cars, they were just a way to finance the racing team. Doesn't get more serious than that.

That's a very reasoned argument.

If old man Enzo had his way, they never would have made road cars at all. He only made them to finance his team.
