I didn't even know there were blind spots on a motorcycle
Supposedly the older JDM engines have metal cam gears and there are a few aftermarket ones that are adjustable. I need to track down those JDM ones and overnight them.
I had a 99 legacy gt wagon at first that I loved and moved to an 03 wrx wagon after that, that’s still my daily. I did just have to get a replacement engine after the plastic cam gear decided it would be a good time to explode while driving 30 mph down the road.
“I found a killer deal on a (insert year) WRX/STi! They only want $7k for it but it comes with no wheels or engine. I have a budget of $12.50, where can I find the parts I need?”
Why does the 5 speed break so much? People are idiots. Actually, as a person who frequently browses NASIOC, most people on there are not bright at all.
I’m going to put the wipers up to clean off the windshield anyway so I might as well put them up before hand. Plus you won’t be tearing the rubber off the blade when you put the wipers up afterward, if it totally froze over. It makes perfect sense to me.
Get it together, nerds.
Crashed my 99 legacy wagon trying to be a little bit too much of a rally driver sans co driver and in the dark. Got my corners mixed up and slid off the road in to a ditch and almost rolled over but a tree stopped me on the rear. Dented the whole rear pillar/roof and ended up being totaled.
Stoked to say that I have done pretty much all of this. I need to adjust my throttle cable, get some better sway bars and bushings/endlinks, and my trans is due for a change (even started gathering the necessary fluids)
Maybe with electric cars some of the race tracks that got shut down due to bullshit noise violations will come back.
Wouldn’t it be easier to trailer these with the wheels down?
I want to know how this happened and the conversation that led to a boat on the roof with a trailer instead of, you know, trailing it
My brother has been thinking about a cargo van lately. Started off wanting a truck but they are expensive. Basically needs an adventure mobile that can fit kayaks, rafts, camping gear, climbing gear, dogs and people.
or b) in acronyms, like Bi-Drive Recreational All-Terrain Transport (“BDRATT”).
This is possibly the best and cheapest tool I ever bought.
I was just at the air and space museum today. There also happened to be a quality little car show there that day too. But I took no pictures for some reason or another.
YouTube, Google, and factory service manual. I'm about 95% self taught through those means.
All quite recent and nothing too crazy.
How easy is it to take out a turbo timer? My car came with some, what I’m being told is mad tyte JDM sickness, turbo timer and I'm not the biggest fan. It sort of works as a boost gauge but an actual boost gauge would be better for that.
