It's devastating that this Tumblr has made the underground an even MORE uncomfortable place for women than it already was before. When I don't feel comfortable giving myself nourishment after a 14-hour journey across the Atlantic because someone might be taking an uninvited photo of me and posting it for the world to

So snark should remain legal, but mean-spirited mockery should be outlawed?

And I'd prefer not to have my photo taken at all without my consent.

So posting photos of complete strangers is okay when accompanied by tongue-in-cheek snark, but doing the exact same thing is bad when you instead post a mean-spirited caption with the photo? Got it.

I am a strong woman...I am in charge of how I look and I can change that and then change that again if I want," she said.

The cringing is the best part!

If this clip made you dislike Joan Rivers, you couldn't have been a big Joan Rivers fan to begin with.

Are you kidding me? She killed!

I said "usually." It's true that there are still shows without black characters, but it usually becomes an issue and something that we talk about. No one even bothers to start that conversation about the lack of Asian or Latino characters.

I haven't counted, but I think most shows (currently on the air) have at least one black character. It's an issue when there aren't any black characters. The same isn't true for Latino or Asian characters.

Well, taking American television as an example. Black people are 13% of the population, but there is (usually) at least one black person on a show. When there isn't, it's something we complain about until that gets fixed (Girls, Saturday Night Live, etc). Latinos, on the other hand, are almost 17% of the population,
