Not only is Katie Porter a lawyer she got her law degree from Harvard where she was an editor on Harvard Women’s Law Journal and graduated magna cum laude. Oh and she is also a tenured professor at the University of California, Irvine School of Law and literally wrote a textbook on consumer law.

The baby is wearing a hat so you can’t see the horns inherited from her parents.

I feel like a 19 year old who committed murder as a member of a cult is a pretty good candidate for rehabilitation. How much are taxpayers spending to make sure this septuagenarian stays in jail?

I keep thinking “oh it would be so sad if a couple of months from now that little baby was ripped from their arms and placed in a disease filled warehouse with a bunch of other kids in cages and the parents had no idea where she was.” But I remind myself I’m not an evil POS like they are, and I wouldn’t wish that on

Its funny. The rest of the Trump Klan was mostly about graft. Money, power and simple corruption. The money the Trumps stole from us is significant.

We have a flock of backyard chickens and keeping them safe and predator proofing their coop has been an ongoing battle! Right now it’s the hawks. I fucking hate hawks. Their shadows creeping over me while outside give me serious anxiety.

Like I said in another comment, a lot of these celebs who claim to get tested multiple times per week are using home testing kits available at retail for around a hundred bucks. Probably less likely to be reliable though I don’t have any info to back that up. At minimum, I’d guess a lot of people doing at home tests

It was a CHOICE to publicly state the number of people you had over for the holiday. Like what the fuck. Be vague and say “Loved being surrounded by my family this Thanksgiving” at the bare fucking minimum.

It seems most people don’t want to know that testing negative isn’t a magical ‘get out of quarantine free’ card. If you’re exposed, you gotta quarantine for 14 days from your last exposure, regardless of your results. You can still test positive later!

I’m trying to understand the level of self-centeredness it takes that CardiB believes she should be tested four times per week (and everyone around her!), just so she doesn’t have to change her lifestyle one iota.

No, you’re right. They can’t even keep it quiet. The lack of self-awareness is staggering. Also, getting tested 4 times a week?! Most people in this country can’t even get tested at all without waiting in line for hours or getting special permission from their doctor. Not to mention the lag time rendering the positive/

We all understand how it works. Rich\famous\powerful have the access to resourses us plebs don’t get. But you fuckers can’t even scrape up the basic decency to not rub your exalted positions in our faces during a worldwide health crisis. You’re lives are oh-so-fabulous and during normal times we could roll our eyes

For Thanksgiving this year my husband and I convinced his whole family to stay the fuck within our respective households. Husband yelled at the lab top while we ate dinner because that’s how he talks on the phone and to family members on Zoom, apparently. The whole day was punctuated with tech issues and it basically

Ridiculous. My mom is an oncologist and her hospital doesn’t have enough tests to test “asymptomatic” employees who have been exposed to COVID while working. How on earth is what Cardi and her people do more essential than fighting cancer? Why are we wasting tests on them when they can just STAY HOME??

These people think they’re the exception. Everybody thinks they’re the exception and all the other people can bite dust when it comes to COVID19. This is one of the main reasons why we’re in this much of a shit now.

I really want to know what kind of a “house” this guy got fleeced on or if he’s just an attention-seeking idiot. I’ve never heard of an actual house in up-state NY or anywhere in New England not having an indoor furnace. I feel like that would violate a housing code in most towns. Also, just because the trees are

I could read about pampered city folks moving to the country ALL DAY. Give me that sweet sweet schadenfreude.

It’s not throwing money away if it works for you.

I’ve lived in the same house in the ‘burbs for 20 years and we’ve had at least a dozen houses sold in our neighborhood since Covid.

LMAO the “outdoor wood-burning furnace” does not adequately convey central heating. Did he buy a cabin in the mountains and expect it to be a 4-season house? These people really have no idea about basic living conditions in the climate in which they appear to actually live in. And yes, grass and trees grow and you
