Exactly what I was thinking. Star Wars’ version of Dread Pirate Roberts. I do kind of like it though. It could also explain why the Jedi version of Fett was so oafish - it wasn’t the Boba Fett, it was a Boba Fett.

In ‘real’ time the Gauntlet is fused and frazzled. But when he’s with young Gamora there is no Gauntlet. There’s a shot specifically on that hand that establishes that the Gauntlet is absent.
“...legendary...”
Was this an extended episode? It seems like I missed all the bits with Jadis and when Maggie plots against Rick. My episode ended with Rick saying his mercy won over his wrath. Did I miss something? Maybe I dozed off or something.
You can tell the Canadian zombies because they say sorry after they bite you.
Iron Giant’s Superman moment was nice and subtle.
You guys are my new favourites.
There was nothing about it that in any way celebrated anything culturally significant. It was never trying to make any kind of cultural or political statement any any way, shape or form. Also, by all accounts, Snipes was a colossal douche the entire time - not exactly an ambassador for unity and good will.
I bet this roller coater is really good right at the beginning, then gets really really boring for most of the ride, and then just good enough at the very end that you want to go on the ride again, even though you know you don’t really want to.
Hey was HUGE in the 70s!
I’ve walked out of two movies in my life - Jackie Brown and White Chicks (though technically we drove out since it was the feature at a drive-in). Jackie Brown was the beginning of Tarantino’s stretch of making ‘Tarantino’ movies as opposed to great films (a stretch that would last until Inglourious Basterds) and…
The Frantics!!! Canucks gotta represent!
Shades of Farquaad?
What about all the ‘humour’? Slapstick? Puns? A Jedi craves not these things.
Actually, it seems to embrace ALL of the Star Wars tropes - the ones that make a good Star Wars movie and the ones seen in the prequels.
Anyone else notice that Rick got his hands on Lucille and then hit Negan with... THE WRONG END OF THE BAT???!!!
A friend of mine is notoriously stingy. He went to the movies but didn’t want to pay the inflated concession prices, so he went to Walmart and bought a bunch of snacks, including a 2L bottle of Coke and a sleeve of plastic cups. He also bought a large jacket with puffy sleeves and lots of pockets. He wore the jacket…
This is my Jawa costume. All hand-made aside from the bandoliers, which I bought online but weathered myself. I also built the gun, which is a cheap dollar store pirate gun, a spout from an oil funnel, a plastic spray bottle, and a few bits of PVC. It’s also wired for sound, with four buttons in the glove to make…
Well, there was almost a gulch named after her, so... that’s pretty deep.
His epitaph on his tombstone says ‘Sorry’, so it’s all good.
