Sorry for the inequality in coverage here, but there's a reason for it. New Orleans, along with the rest of the gulf, has been hit before. I can only speak for my lifetime, the last 36 years, but the gulf region has always in that time been a place where hurricanes and tropical storms are not out of the ordinary.

Yeah, what Lordkyellan said.

You say, "God, I wish HP did more with WebOS, it's an amazing mobile OS that was just never pushed well enough."

Disgusting behavior from national, but let's not jump on the BSA hate wagon so quick. Most troops act fairly independently from national, and there is no mechanism in place for national to "check in" with troops to make sure every member is straight or not atheist.

Damnit, I may need to go buy some nacho making provisions.

I always thought the reformed cheese/nacho pile is part of the appeal of well made nachos.

Cutest ever ewok.

Wait a sec...

I don't think you are the one getting it. To say something is right or wrong, regardless of the actual effect on any parties, is very basic, childish thinking. You question my understanding of right and wrong, and yet you don't seem to have every questioned what makes something right or wrong in the first place.

All snark aside, unless you're a real contrarian, why use any player but an iPod?

Sorry, you're wrong. It's nothing like stealing from a store. When you steal a disc, you're taking away their ability to profit on that product. It's not there anymore.

Whenever I start using a laptop, touch to click is the first thing I turn on. Unless your machine is broken and doesn't click every time, why would you need that click sound so register a click or tap? If nothing happens on screen, it didn't register, if something happens, it did.

I would imagine that thing is really hard to make without a modern factory or tools, and while they may be common at ranges, how many are just floating around the country that the characters can use?

I've got a few friends who bike over the various bridges every day. While being far from Manhattan makes it harder, there's many parts of Brooklyn and Queens that are really bikeable. (Yes, it's a word, cuz I said so.)

Do you guys understand what a refurb even means? It's not "used". In fact, it's often a better buy than a new one because you can be sure it's not defective. Refurbs are tested and reset to factory standards, and come with warranties just like new.

Freedom of choice, blah blah blah. Most of the arguments I'm seeing here come from a very comfortable place of privilege, and are completely unaware of their safe vantage point. I'm aware that I too, come from a place of middle class privilege, but not everyone does.

I've got two kids, one is just 3 weeks old today, and frankly I'm with Kara on that one. If you kick people out of the room for talking while your kid is sleeping, maybe your kid needs more exposure to noise.

The younger sisters are what, 14-16 years old? Isn't it possible that they're huge fans of the genre and just want to write a good book?

John Clements, the author of this article, is in that documentary, and comes across just as self-important as he does here.

I just emailed Jim Stamas, because no articles I've seen have really given any more reasoning for these bans. Let's see what he says.
