@junior ghoul: I just got back a few hours ago from an Eagle scout ceremony for a guy in my troop. We're not going anywhere.

Speaking as a former scout (Tigers all the way up to 17, and no I never made Eagle), adult leader since then and now Scoutmaster for the last year, can I at least assure you that most of us aren't this clueless?
I love some Atomic Robo.
@araumiya001: Wow, that's weird. I taught middle school SpEd students, who did the same thing, and I handled it EXACTLY the same way, and it worked too.
@LutherNipperkin: I do both.
Deadpool, like everything created by that no talent piece of crap, Liefeld, is garbage. Good riddance.
I must be the only geek in America who thinks the Scott Pilgrim books look like crap.
@Clixx13: You're right, I walked right into "I did it, why can't you?" Which is a crap argument.
I hear people say they run to a mouse for precision work or gaming, and I think that's still just a matter of habit. I used to do graphic design (swapped it to teach elementary school) and I used to work straight on my trackpad. Those times I needed more precision, I grabbed my Wacom stylus, not a mouse.
Art is cyclical, there's no original ideas, blah blah blah... but I knew a guy at SVA about 16 years ago (ohdearlordI'msoold...) who video taped his anus clenching and unclenching, and had people view it directly through the camera's eyepiece so they couldn't get a glimpse til it was very much in their face.
@girlsaregeeks: I didn't think it was possible to access gizmodo or the web in general if you hated Buffy...
I used to work at the sunglass counter at Paragon Sporting Goods in NYC, and got to be quite the expert at identifying fake designer glasses. Often I'd have people come in and ask if the ones they bought from some guy on a street corner were real Oakleys. More than once I told them, "You lucked out, these are fake.…
I'm fairly against burqas and what they represent (though I'm far from a scholar of islamic studies,) but an outright ban is every bit as oppressive as requiring one, isn't it?
First something promoting Rob "the Anti-Christ of Comics" Liefeld and then something acknowledging Ghostbusters 2? (The first was genius, I know, but really, sewer slime?!?)
How dare you post a Leifeld cover, and not even in a hate article? I trusted you , io9, and now that trust is gone.
Is this even a thing? I didn't realize I wasn't suppose to love cupcakes.
Anyone know what that music is? Shazam had no idea.
@Malcontent79: The name fits, Mal. They did get him our of the costume, and it was a huge debacle. In fact, I have it on good authority from one of the creators at the time that the whole purpose of changing his costume back then was to piss off people.
@Lemon: I just recently re-watched all 7 seasons on Netflix, it's all up for streaming! Try the Season 8 comic too, it's a nice fix!
