? I played through the entire main storyline and did most of the side missions. It was great. The online was poorly designed, and mostly unimpressive. *shrug*

Wrong. There is a massive crowd that miss real PC FPS's because we haven't had them for so long. You're right in a way though. The majority of gamers today are people who enjoy instant-gratification, no practice to win FPS's. So it won't be as popular as the junk food FPS's. But it's definitely not doomed. No way.

While the console plebs are eating from plates and bowls, the master race carries their food through telepathy.

Though I understand their points from a business perspective, it makes me sad that we live in a world where people can so coldly crush creative ideas.

Eh, virtual reality had it's chance. It's cool but I don't see it as anything revolutionary or game changing.

I've actually thought about why it's appealing and why it's lasted longer amongst my friends, and I think it's because at the end of the day, it's all positive things. It's goofy, but it's uplifting in the sense it uses grandiose terms (such, very, so) and is usually expressing why something is great/cool/whatever…
