The Xbox One controller is pretty similar to the first Xbox, if a bit smaller than it.

Sure. I get that. Ancient people usually took stuff like that as a given. But it's also well known among biblical scholars that Jews are big about using numbers for symbolism. For example: 40 usually indicates a long journey. 7 indicates an amazing show of power. 666 means Emperor Nero.

The problem is that people have been trained to believe they *have* to choose between Science and Religion. People who believe they must choose between the two will make their choice out of a moral belief, even if it goes against the evidence provided and their scientific instincts say otherwise.

Well then, would they "remake" FF7 already? Because my husband's making me play it, but I really can't stand the "Attack of the Popeye Clones" graphics.

Tress FX, eh?

Call me bitter, but remember when Tales of Vesperia came out for PS3 in Japan? The resolution was lower than the 360 version, but it didn't matter to the Japanese who'd gotten the game on their almighty Sony system with tons of extra DLC.

Despite my liking of certain consoles, I've always been of the "PC Master Race" crowd. Wow. Installs. What's all the fuss about? ;)

And here I just thought he was being silly and sarcastic. *shrug*

I remember having to do this on one of my mom's old TVs....

That's what people don't get. I remember Majora's mask having character animations at what? 12fps? 15fps? Pure hardware speed wasn't going to make that any faster. It was simply the frames in the character's animation.

There's no real point in arguing Nintendo vs. Microsoft though, as those two companies have always gotten along swimmingly. (To the point of Microsoft making quite a few DS games, even being commissioned by Nintendo at times.) It's boring but true. :)

Exactly. Polygon seemed to imply that the drive is mainly a cache, and that the device auto-deletes unused stuff and dumps it on the cloud anyway. (With the idea you could always re-download later and not worry about the hard drive.) Microsoft may not care all that much about people swapping the drive as long as

I don't get it either. Kotaku, IMO, was ruthless to the Xbox One last spring, as were many other gaming sites. (Tech and Gadget sites tended to be excited and impressed with it.) This, and Microsoft's eventual reaction, upset me a bit, because I actually liked the idea of sharing games with my family.

I think some sort of change is coming though. A few weeks ago Cable One got in this big fight with Turner networks over wanting to keep TNT/TBS and Cartoon Network but drop CNN and Headline News. The reason given was that the ratings were low, and Turner was raising their prices. If their customers weren't watching

Indeed. I often wonder how well electronics are treated when they're rushed shipped. "Fragile" stickers only go so far.

I kept trying and it eventually worked. I think their site wasn't entirely up or something.

I really don't get that. Just....why? Why add it to gameplay?

*just read the review over at engadget*

I have long held the opinion that if there is a sign saying not to do something, it means somebody did it.

And the true winner of the console war is....AMD! XD
