Keep it 4-player split-screen on the TV, but only show the game-pad player's view on the tablet. Why have the other 3 players show up on the tablet's screen at all?
Unfortunately, split-screen shows up on the gamepad too. I wish it was only player-one's view.
I wish iOS would do icons like this. I would much prefer these over the same rounded squares on iOS. The icons for Safari, Music, Messages, etc, would look slick on mobile.

Your PS4 creates its own WiFi hotspot for the Vita to connect to. Dig through your settings (or search online) and you'll find the option to allow it to directly connect.

It's the benefit of having a single-purpose machine for writing - the equivalent of a digital typewriter, which is probably what he's comfortable with. No updates, no other processes running, no internet, just WordStar. WordStar probably saves files as .txt, which he drops onto a floppy, brings it over to his 2nd…
