Man, I miss this franchise...

Is this one a co-op game? There's another (a few, probably) top-down zombie games like this, and I always get them confused. There's one that I tried playing with my roommates, but we had to mute the voices because they were horrible. It had unlimited ammo though, so it was more approachable...

They recently (last few years) started pushing the "per container" numbers as a second metric for things like 20oz bottles and bags of chips. Not all of them did that, but it was a nice change.

Being in love with your IP doesn't mean you're the best one to make it a reality. Guerilla loves Killzone, but they're probably not the best at making Killzone a real mainstream hit. Doesn't mean they can't completely change directions and make a new game that makes up for the failures of having to stick within a

It's the best banking experience I've had on my phone and computer in a long time. And the Customer support chat is great.

Clearly this is going over your head.

Those are games that are trying to look like a cartoon, or the source that they're based on.This is a game trying to look like a movie, or at least use techniques that make the game feel like a movie. If they feel that pushing higher frame rates would go against that purpose, why would they care so much about it?

Yes. That's what the "too" implies.

And video games are not cartoons, but that doesn't stop people from making games to look like them.

I read it, and it's a big "if they can't produce motion blur" tangent that was probably relevant early last gen. Motion blur to make up for lost frames, and using cinematic camera work (framing, FOV, filters, etc), and good animation will bring you into what feels closer to a movie than a game. 60fps disconnects you

This is also new, if you want some gameplay:

The footage clearly shows a cover-based third person shooter. It's everywhere.

Movies have been a certain way for a long time. Audiences find it to be the standard. They hesitate to move to things like HFR because it's different than what they've experienced at the movies for decades. Some people like what it did on a technical level, but most people find it a way to charge for more (like 3D).

if it were 60fps, it would be too smooth, and it wouldn't feel like a movie. Not sure how this is escaping most people.

They're doing it to make it feel more like a movie.

Most gaming channels that have seen the gameplay mention that there is actual gameplay in the trailer, and the quality is seamless between cutscenes, QTEs and regular gameplay, using the exact same assets and rendering.

AAA Movies (usually action, sci-fi, etc) that are "1080p" on Blu-Ray are usually 2:40 / 1920 x 800

And I'm not willing to bet $500+ that Microsoft has not only managed to make a console that doesn't overheat (which my friends say their XBOs run hot) but has also designed it to be always powered on so you can use whatever other device you have hooked up to it. Not after the 360's reputation. Until they've proven

Keeping your TV on greatly reduces the lifespan of the display. Having your washing machine constantly running reduces the lifespan of the appliance. That's just the nature of electronics.

Even with a 'better supply chain', PS4s are selling better (current numbers, I believe, put Sony ahead about just under 1 million units globally, with the PS4 not even launched in Japan yet).
