My very first thought as well.

5400 RPM should be fine with this sort of density.

I'm dropping $400 to play AC4, BF4, Killzone:SF, NFS:Rivals, and a lot of others.

It's most likely 60fps source slowed to 30fps (so it's still smooth, just half-speed).

Need for Speed Rivals was just bumped up to be a launch title for the PS4.

Considering the price of a 2.5" HDD(9mm) at the time of launch, it was reasonable, but you've always had the option to swap it for a larger one. So while it came with 20/40/60GB, throwing in a 320 or 500GB HDD was easy.

Killzone... The "good guys" of ISA are actually assholes who commit genocide, forced exodus, then war... But it's spun in a way that it's BASICALLY propaganda and you just feel like the Hellghast are the bad guys (with their glowing red eyes and evil looking empire).

I just recently broke down and did the same. I was just disappointed too many times seeing EU get much better PS3 titles.

I need more local multiplayer. Living with two other roommates, we're finding it difficult to enjoy games together... We buy anything that we can all play together...

Except the Wii U is just now getting a 3D Platformer Mario title, Mario Kart, Zelda (wait, that's a HD Port), Smash Bros, etc about 8-14 months after release. And 3rd Party support is still spotty.

It will work, but you can't expect the sort of quality while at starbucks that you get from within the same network. If they said "Oh yea, it works" people would be bitching that they're getting destroyed in a Killzone Deathmatch while ordering a frappe.

It's also about being able to strafe at any angle, while being able to toss grenades or jump or melee or reload, something that would require three or more fingers takes two (thumb and index), and the comfort is much improved. With the Sony Nav Controller, you still have a lot of buttons available to you (a nunchuck

I have tried that. It'd be better with the Move Navigation Controller than a DS3, but it doesn't work with most games that support a mouse.

If you're using your middle finger to press the DS3 triggers, you're holding it wrong. Your middle finger is best used to support the controller under the thumbsticks. It is unlikely for a player to press both R1 and R2 at the same time, so using your index finger for both is perfectly acceptable (and more

DS3 'triggers' are fantastic for things other than 'triggers' (SN: I hate the term 'triggers' because hardly any PS3 game uses them as such). The bumpers (R1/L1) are superior in every way. The quick binary input (short-throw, smaller button) is closer to what you get from a mouse.

I HATE using a keyboard to move. The awkward position it puts my left hand in....

Except

And we don't know if it will yet. They may have an update that adds the drivers to support the DS4 coming soon. But since they're shipping "early", it's just not out yet.

Sure, that... or, an unofficially released peripheral doesn't have full support for a unofficially supported platform without some sort of work-around...
