I need more local multiplayer. Living with two other roommates, we're finding it difficult to enjoy games together... We buy anything that we can all play together...

Except the Wii U is just now getting a 3D Platformer Mario title, Mario Kart, Zelda (wait, that's a HD Port), Smash Bros, etc about 8-14 months after release. And 3rd Party support is still spotty.
It will work, but you can't expect the sort of quality while at starbucks that you get from within the same network. If they said "Oh yea, it works" people would be bitching that they're getting destroyed in a Killzone Deathmatch while ordering a frappe.
It's also about being able to strafe at any angle, while being able to toss grenades or jump or melee or reload, something that would require three or more fingers takes two (thumb and index), and the comfort is much improved. With the Sony Nav Controller, you still have a lot of buttons available to you (a nunchuck…
I have tried that. It'd be better with the Move Navigation Controller than a DS3, but it doesn't work with most games that support a mouse.
If you're using your middle finger to press the DS3 triggers, you're holding it wrong. Your middle finger is best used to support the controller under the thumbsticks. It is unlikely for a player to press both R1 and R2 at the same time, so using your index finger for both is perfectly acceptable (and more…
DS3 'triggers' are fantastic for things other than 'triggers' (SN: I hate the term 'triggers' because hardly any PS3 game uses them as such). The bumpers (R1/L1) are superior in every way. The quick binary input (short-throw, smaller button) is closer to what you get from a mouse.
I HATE using a keyboard to move. The awkward position it puts my left hand in....
Except
And we don't know if it will yet. They may have an update that adds the drivers to support the DS4 coming soon. But since they're shipping "early", it's just not out yet.
Sure, that... or, an unofficially released peripheral doesn't have full support for a unofficially supported platform without some sort of work-around...
Not that it counts for much, but my circle of gamers (of all types) really do follow trends - either by accident or on purpose - and most popular and successful games of all platforms can be found in our libraries. PvZ for PC isn't nearly as prominent among our ranks compared to the iOS version - 100:1, easily. Which…
Really? iOS had nothing to do with it becoming the franchise is it today?
How is the display? I'm tired of waiting for Apple to release a slim update to theirs....
It's not exclusive to Gmail, and they probably do it the worst. If that's the best part, then I feel justified in my loathing toward Gmail.
Not anymore with iOS 7. They're in the Control Center (swipe up from bottom).
I don't know why Kinja blows it up like that. Opening the image in a separate tab shows it properly...
Yes. And as a Sony fanboy (self-identified), it doesn't bother me at all.
Me too, but it's also not fair to hold F2P games to the same standard of a retail priced game. A F2P game (done right) is designed to be enjoyed in small bites over time, and played with a certain pace. I don't want to pay retail price for some games - Fighting and Wrestling games being some of the genres I'd like to…
