I think it comes down to a lot of people already having PS+ anyway. I wasn't upset by the news since I didn't have any intention of canceling PS+. So it doesn't really affect me. And honestly, it's such a good deal I think it's been foolish for people NOT to have it.

You can visit almost every area in FF7 on the first disc except the crater, temple of the ancient and a few remote caves only reachable by chocobo.
