@robpe36: I am going to go ahead and reply with this. You aren't a fan of music. Plain and simple. If you were there would be 2 things proving me wrong, but here they sit:

@robpe36: We obviously disagree... Sorry for not keeping up to date tallies on metacritic scores. I still enjoy Guitar Hero, Rock Band, and DDR. Because I do not play them for whatever innovative passion you are looking for. I understand that the game is about the music and how you interact with it. The new features

@robpe36: Because it is not a shooter. Half-Life is based on the content. As in, gameplay and story. The gameplay for music games is always the same. The content is the music. It is a game based on music. Rather than releasing a ton of DLC packs they release disc based content. Rockband has more discs than GH. They

@nerdmanwhippy: And we saw how well WAW was accepted right? I understand they are on a yearly schedule. But here is the point I make, what can they really make happen on a yearly schedule? People say sports games have lost their innovation. COD is just another yearly franchise in my opinion. Only difference is COD4

@robpe36: So what innovations do you expect them to come up with? You are expecting them to reinvent the wheel. GH5 had drop in and out party play and a better online system. What else can they do? Add more songs and more dynamic music choices. That is all really. Unless you want Tambourine Hero or Euphonium Hero. DJ

@[N7]Violent's In Silence: PS3 here. I have done some file sorting and code editing in PC games and most of the time the whole application goes haywire with one wrong move. Will be getting more PC games when I get a PC that isn't a supreme POS.

What I hate the most about this franchise is they are so quick to release a new title. Going through so many issues and legal battles, losing key players, and they are still planning to release this in November?

I think the most likely storyline for this movie is the Donald Blake timeline. It is the most acceptable way to introduce people to a new superhero. Loss of all memories and power? Becoming a medical student? But this doesn't explain why he is so scrawny for a god. Not just a god, but a Norse god.

@[N7]Violent's In Silence: I think they just listened to what people wanted. While this may be something that has been done in Fallout 3, New Vegas makes it official and gives the game a new difficulty for people that are not on PC or computer smart enough to sort game files without messing their entire game up.

@Moonshadow101: I love the idea of hardcore mode. It makes the game feel much more realistic. A box of ammo is pretty heavy. On my most built up save I have over 2k 9mm bullets. If anyone is able to carry that many bullets then I am certain they couldn't do it while jumping around and killing behemoths...

@robpe36: Well seeing as they cannot really re-invent the game... Yeah the songs that change are what makes us buy the games. If it was the same damn songs and no updates to the series then yeah I would stay away...

Looks like I am gonna have to get back into Guitar Hero... I put down my plastic guitar and drum sticks a few months ago... If they made a Guitar Hero: Dave Grohl I would be set. He does it all.

@RockingMonk: Keep playing man. And I would have to say that he might as well have taken his blades and diced the world into little pieces. He brought storms, plagues, and hell itself upon the people on earth. By all means the ending is a big shocker. It plays out a lot better than most people portray it to be.

@Guesswho69: The thing that people fail to see is that hope was always at the bottom of the box. If he were to open the box and find the hope and defeat Zeus with the hope it would seem tacked on and messy. It makes sense that he had the hope the entire time. He was masking that hope with anger and other intentions.

@(Zombie) WDYC: From a story point, he had to change his ways. If not it would have been filled with plot holes and it would have only appealed to those people that wanted him to kill Zeus then turn into an AC 130 and destroy the whole world as the final credits roll.

@greyseal: The gameplay where he is going through his "chaos" form is where they explain why he changed. He has been on this long journey of killing everyone around him, from enemies to allies. He finally realized how it was the very reason he set out for revenge. So without that scene he would have just tossed

@Luke Plunkett: True. It is not the only way to say it though. I have seen a few StoreInformer messages and they usually try and make the employees seem very cool and informed at times. They encourage game assistants to stay in touch with what is going on in gaming news to keep them informative. Seems misplaced to me.

OK I am warning people that are reading this: I will post spoilers... If you are reading this article you are out of your element.

GameStop is seriously getting on their employees for doing this? Really? Like Luke said this is a minor release. I have a theory...

@Heliophage: I loved all the older Marios up until... 64 I suppose. Once the Gamecube came out I passed on Nintendo games. Then once the Wii came out I bought one and some Mario titles. I enjoyed SMG about as if it was a new game franchise. There is a certain degree of happiness you get from playing a good game (SMG
