Simply fantastic. Not sure how people are renting movies these days, but I just watched one about the history about the Banjo called "Give me the Banjo". I HIGHLY recommend it to anybody interested in history at all. Your trio was briefly featured as well as Charlie Poole, Gus Cannon, Roscoe Holcomb, Bascom Lamar

Not going to lie, I skip this song when it comes on the playlist.

Use to LOVE Buffett. His stuff off of "Before the Beach" is worth a look. It is hard to believe he palled around with Jerry Jeff Walker.

No need to be crass. The Doors made this (more) famous but she was married to the man who apparently wrote it. I wish the Whiskey bar part was included in the beginning. Look her up, she is a Bond girl. Well sort of. She was in From Russia With Love.

Can't believe I forgot about that King Harvest song. I love it.

I heard once that each verse in this song is a Haiku. Haven't taken the time to check but that would be neat.

Whelp, you have sent me down the rabbit hole again. You are the best. Happy Birthday Mr. Erg.

My mom always told me to "keep your eyes open, your mouth closed, and your zipper up".

Awesome. They had 4 in a row to follow a few years later. None of these include my favorite. #1 1968.

Fantastic.
