Wow. Really really well done, and the first short I can remember that really captures that creepy sci-fi short-story vibe. Thought it would have been better without the last shot though. While spooky, I thought it would have been better left with Blinky creepily closing the door.

I just found a way! Download "Terra," a third-party browser that let's you change your user agent. Change it to any of the other options and voila! It works!

One tablet on the market that has a straight-up USB-A female port? I'm not aware of one...

Thank you for bringing facts and numbers to the obvious truth. They said nothing about loading speeds. They said it improves javascript performance. I'm a bit shocked by the Atrix comparison. How do you like it, Moto?!

It took me 20 minutes to get to school today. They just made it INTO SPACE in under 3. That's pretty incredible. Nothing like space exploration to inspire faith in humanity.

My thoughts exactly. The video is terrifying and wonderful at the same time. Terrifying because of the inherent risk of death by googlecar, and of course because of the inevitable googlecar uprising. I, for one... think that's a pretty great video! :)

As someone who is thinking about an iPad 2, could you explain further what you mean? What do you feel like you wish they had done? I'm trying to weigh if I feel like they should have delivered more or if I should wait until the next version...

Did I see you on engadget yesterday with the same logo? I would heart you if I could...

Whew... Good thing, because nobody's running 2.2 or below? Right? That firmware is for dinosaur phones! [developer.android.com]

UGH. Why can't I find Lookout on the App Store? Stupid Apple and their restrictive policies!

Yeah, that's the thing about wi-fi. It's never going to be fast enough (okay, maybe not never, but not anytime soon) to really act predictably and well for a second monitor, especially in an office environment with a lot of traffic or something. If you have a router dedicated to that purpose maybe, but it's not going

True that. I've been waiting for that so I can swap out the ODD in my macbook pro. I can't believe that a macbook air feels faster than my i7. It's insane...

HOW DARE YOU!!?!?!?

Sad for the former reason... I have an i7 so I don't care about much else, but that thunderbolt port looks mighty fine...

Yeah, I'd be most excited for the thunderbolt port. It doesn't mean anything now, but if it catches on, it is going to suck not to have one...

I just remembered that! But by the time I updated the file, gawker had already cached it, and I didn't really care to re-post...

You know thunderbolt is something like 30x faster than wifi, right? Try syncing a few movies over wifi, and you'll realize we're not there yet for wireless data transfer for iOS devices.

Well, it was a hunch by John Gruber based mostly around the fact that iPads sell like hotcakes at Christmastime, and then techcrunch had some source confirm something similar, but I still doubt it. I think Apple a. likes their yearly release schedule b. has no other big product to announce this quarter and c. likes

Does anyone else think that the dock connector port there won't allow for a cable to be attached due to the aggressive taper? I call fake-ish, though I would love to see a thunderbolt/displayport(!) port...

I could probably stand to lose a few, but oh well...
