Seche Vite topcoat and Nails Inc’s Kensington Caviar are the same product, if you can’t find the Sally Hansen one. (Kensington Caviar’s my favourite; seems to last longer before drying out in the bottle, although you can buy a bottle of solvent from Seche Vite which will resurrect gloppy top coats or polishes.)

Get yourself a bottle of Seche Vite top coat - it makes ANY nail polish fast-drying and (no exaggeration) changed my life.
Urban Decay’s X is a wonderful gold shadow, and I’ve never found a dupe from any other brand. It’s almost a melon colour, and it’s SO flattering; I’ve not yet met anyone it doesn’t look fabulous on.
Have you tried the purple Clinique mascara in the same line? It’s called Portly Plum, and it’s wonderful.

Product plug: Japanese hyaluronic acid lotion - by brands like Hada Labo. It’s not a toner, but it looks like one and you use it much like one: pat a few drops into the skin before moisturising. It’s a finishing powder, not a setting powder. It’s the very best I’ve found for giving a lit-from-within look; it doesn’t look “hey, I’m wearing strobe-light powder”, but just somehow, miraculously, healthy and airbrushed and even and gorgeous.
Second the NARS Translucent Crystal. I use the loose powder in the mornings, and after blotting around lunchtime, use the set version with a brush. It’s gorgeous stuff.
Eyeshadow primer (the Urban Decay stuff deserves its reputation) under the concealer, and under your eyeshadow. Then set with a powder.

We have two cats who are very small by daytime. At night, they somehow expand in size to take up a whole king-sized bed. Seriously. There is no way of lying down without being poked by a cat doing an impression of a sleeping starfish.
That’s a shame; I was in Japan with my family a couple of years ago, and my Mum, sis-in-law and I went to several onsen. Sis-in-law has a tattoo (a fish about four inches long on her hip), and didn’t have any trouble getting in once naked, or even experience any awkward glances or funny looks.
