I guess you could say the Xbox's DRM policy did a 360.

It's almost as if there's something more to games than their graphics. What could that be?
Listen kid, spoothead asked you a serious question:
Only the PSN was down. Single player games still worked fine. And we got 5 free games. One of which was Infamous. So at least one AAA game.

Well then here is another one from 2011 for you. Like I said I know this happened to the 360, because I was one of the people that got their 360 bricked, and It was not modded. Microsoft replaced it for free of course, but it still happened. I am sure Sony users affected will…
Ha! Hilarious, you're making yourself a very easy target with that retarded comment. First thing, Sony isn't the only ones that did this, Microsot did it twice. Second, with the PS4 you'll have the choice to update because you can be offline while the Xbox will force it. Hilarious...
Lol. 360 did it first.
Except when that happens with Xbox One, you can't choose "No" and stay offline.

This has happend to the 360 two times now. In 2006 and again in 2011. You can do your research if you want.
I love how people have selective memories.
Thing is, Xbox One is trying to get where Steam is, without anything Steam is doing for the success it has. Steambox will probably sell at a loss so they can give out better hardware and profit from software, because that's what Valve does best. Microsoft on the other hand, can't be so profitable even if they sell…
There are holes in any pro-Xbone argument. You need not bother pointing that out in the future. Like saying the grass is green.
the fact that they have disks and no checking right now doesn't mean it will always be that way
Not "somehow" they are anti-consumer. Don't just compare the Xbox One with Steam. Compare it to the PC as a whole, THEN say Xbox One isn't so bad. Steam isn't the only way to play games on the PC. Not to mention the PC is pretty much all digital now, while Microsoft is trying to apply digital restrictions on physical…
Not really. You can already get pretty much all 1st party titles from Sony on the PS3 digitally the same day they release on disk, and from what I understand, they're looking to expand that to as much of the 3rd party library for the PS4 as they can (and I don't imagine any of the major publishers will have a problem…
Nobody said it was a bad idea for Xbox One. In fact, that feature is one of the few positives people have gotten out of the whole ordeal that may actually benefit consumers! Of course it's also tied to some weird 30 day thing that sounds like a hassle.
At least you can take it offline so it doesn't update!
If you used any of those services you would know that you'd have to connect only once, and that's to download your goods. After that, they're good to go and you'd never have to connect again.
It seems like Sony wants to get where Microsoft does, but they want to let it happen in a more organic manner, not just shoehorning the entire world into digital distribution and online, but giving both options and letting things occur naturally.
