I’m sure the extra weight affecting the balance does slow the car a little, but probably not the half second he was behind in qualifying last race.

Aw, they are play nicely and share their toys, that’s sweet.
I’m not sure the boost in power is actually needed, that thing should already put down enough torque to spin the rear wheels at virtually any speed in virtually any gear.
But at least it is engineered to last the full duration.
Yeah, that was bugging me, too. Normally I’m all over these retro designs and disappointed when (if) they hit the road, but there’s something that doesn’t quite gel with me here.
Shame they don’t seem to be interested in making cars anymore...
It’s named after Loki because it is an elaborate scam, the true extent of which will only be revealed just as the credits roll.
I’m the same, most of the time, did a 24 hour in the air run once, I did fall asleep during the safety briefing on the final connecting flight and then was wide awake when we started heading down the runway. I say most of the time, because I have inherited very slight narcolepsy from my Mother, if that hits I’ll doze…
Tesla Model 3. Automation features? Eugh. Extra Power? It’s already too heavy to be a fun dynamic drive. Paint colour? Who cares. You’re (alledgedly) saving the planet, you don’t need extras.
It seemed to be easier to find a list of cars first produced in my birth year, which gave me the Tatra 613, the VW Golf and the Volvo 200 which are cool enough. Also there was this obscure Italian machine that I doubt anyone has heard of, pretty sure it’s...
I’m looking forwards to the in-depth article on the difference between taillights on the different spacecraft.
I’m sure there’s a nice complicated repair for this, for the rest of us there’s a piece of string.
Fuel, insurance and vehicle tax, you know, the things I already have to pay for.
Odd that Helsinki appears so disorganised, I recall thinking it was laid out quite well. I wonder how my local city would fare, it’s more of a radial system than a grid, the river makes a mess of things and out where I live there are areas you would expect to be connected by roads which just are not.
And I thought I was hard done by trying to find the handbrake on our works van (spoiler: it’s between the driver’s seat and the door). While our van is definitely bigger than that Roller, it’s probably lighter (unladen).
I don’t think Red Bull realised what a gift they were given when none of their junior drivers were quite cutting it and Checo was out of contract at the end of last year. Maybe he isn’t quite as fast as Max, but a great no.2 driver will be there to pick up the pieces when things go wrong.
So, say you are in a storm on the highway (you didn’t want to travel but you had no choice), everyone has their hazard warning lights (UK term, but flasher has a completely different meaning here) on. You’ve all slowed down. Everything is flashing orange. Are you distracted? How do you see anything? If you need to…
When I first saw one I was amazed at how small the thing was, I’d seen all these pictures and videos and in my head had scaled it up to the height of a regular car, but it isn’t. In my opinion the thing looks much, much better in the metal than it does in photos.
Well, unless I want to put diesel or LPG in my tank (which I most definitely do not), at my local garage I have the option of 95 RON or nothing (that’s something like 91 octane). My manual says it would like 97 RON (93 octane) now and then, but I’m not sure which garages stock that round here, it’s gone out of fashion.
What are your feelings on bananas?
