‘Stop fornicating, ladies, and obey God’

I imagine you think that you and a "tin hat theorist" are pretty far off from each other.

I'm having trouble understanding why it matters if she speaks in "professional" English at all, in this context. She's not at a job interview, she's on the witness stand. They had her come in. The important thing is her testimony, not her ability to speak like Tom Brokaw.

I can't get past the idea that you think that you're an expert on how you would react if your good friend were killed during an incident that started while you were on the phone with him, despite not having ever been in that situation, and such an expert that you have the authority to judge others in ways that law

I would 100% not point to you.

Also, English is two languages in one. It's a Germanic language plus a Romantic language. And don't get me started on the contradictory grammar rules. I respect anyone learning English as a second language.

I can't get past the idea that you're more outraged over poor English than an unarmed teenager being killed.

Ohemgeeeeee! WHERE IS HER BIRTH CERTIFICATE? Amiriiiiiite?

Why does it matter whether or not this girl is graceful under pressure, or you'd want your kids to act like this? The point of the article is that she's being viciously attacked online for being fat, black, and relatively uneducated- things that are no one's business and have no bearing on her role as a witness in a

And his expression! Totally hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing.

He's a weasel but I can't help but love his character. The show NEEDS his character and Kartheiser plays it so well.

My favorite Pete moment this episode was him and his brother quickly going from righteously angry to serene about their mother's death after hearing how much an investigation old cost.

Someone posted this even more on-the-nose image on tumblr:

But seriously, the best part of the episode was "NOT GREAT, BOB." Just perfect timing and delivery.

It seemed to me that shot, with her silhouetted against the window was a definite callback to the last shot of the opening credits.

What the boys are getting taught: that they are literally the center of the universe, that planets and people and services revolve around them while they do little to nothing to exert themselves. Everyone must orbit around them. Everyone must adapt to them and their needs. They don't need to stir at all.

I love that it never goes the other way, b/c ladies could NEVER have impure thoughts about boys. Nope, we're just objects to be projected upon with no agency of our own!

Wouldn't this have been the perfect opportunity to teach a life lesson? Hey boys: girls exist. You may have some sexual feeling about girls, and you need to learn how to control those feelings. Girls don't have to change their activities just because you get a boner. But no, of course, THEY TEACH THEM THE OPPOSITE.

Notice how those impure thoughts are something the girl inflicts on boys so she has to be punished. What a twisted little world this guy lives in, where men and boys are victimized by girls not wearing burkas. Why don't these guys ever tell boys and men to put on blinders?
