They did. He still has all his hair and you can see a little shadowing at times, from where they've shaved it back. He may have also gained some weight on purpose (he seems like a pretty method kind of guy).

The men are progressively becoming more desperate and pathetic with each season. It's fantastic.
So...is there an impending backlash about to happen with Mad Men? Lately I feel like every article about Mad Men on Jezebel has a few comments along the lines of "this show is so fucking sexist omg." It is a little embarrassing for those commenters as they seem to have completely missed the point of the show.
Storytelling is about taking yourself out of place and time. It's a way to live through metaphor. Conversely, stories that only reflect your exact beliefs down to the letter, that's propaganda. What you want is propaganda.
Just because Mad Men is set in a misogenystic world doesn't mean that the show is misogenystic. Just like not every movie set during slavery advocates slavery. Or every movie set in the past is homophobic. By accurately protraying how sexist the 1960s were and how this sexism impacted women's lives, the show actually…
You don't have to like the show at all, but it's certainly not an hour long misogyny fest. It has some of the best written women on television.
The show has a significant number of finely shaded female characters, one of the best representations on TV. Observing misogyny is not the same as endorsing it.
Well, it's a show about the sixties, and - with a few exceptions - the sixties were pretty much a decade long misogyny fest. And I think it portrays some incredibly nuanced, strong female characters. Some of the best on TV right now, actually.
Do you watch the show? It's actually incredibly relevant to the times we live in.
I don't see what that has to do with the issue at hand. I haven't seen anything that says she signed something saying she would have to pay tuition after getting kicked out.
But at the same time can you expect an 18 year old kid to fully know and understand their sexuality and belief system well enough to know in 4 years time you'll be able to hold to that agreement?
Absolutely. I see the strong points of being 'pro-life', I honestly do, and I know for some people it genuinely does come from a good place. Unfortunately the modern anti-abortion movement seems less concerned with babies and children and LIFE than it does with policing women's sexuality (see: their stance on…
Assuming that actually happened instead of being the unrealistic hypothetical that it is: She should be allowed to evict it from her person. A womb-owner doesn't owe a fetus their uterus anymore than you own someone your kidney.
And that's a straw man. Of course they can regulate medical procedures but they cannot do so in a discriminatory way. Stop trying to cloud the issue with terrible rhetoric.
So yes the government CAN regulate our bodies and can have regulations that affect only one gender
Did a bunch of middle-aged women get together and make an anti-prostate-procedure law that I'm unaware of?
During election season, a close friend of mine had to have an abortion to save her life. A few weeks later, I went to visit her when she was in town to see her parents. Guess what? They had a freaking Richard Mourdock sign in their yard. Damn, how can you be so clueless? If people like that man had their way,…
If they honestly cared about babies, there would be free and universal health care for the entire population and we would have the best goddammed schools in the entire world. So they obviously don't give a shit about babies.
Oh, New York: Where liberal freedoms are enjoyed by wingnuts, but they protest against them anyways.
I'm sorry, I know I should reach for at least vague rationality here, but I just can't get beyond FUCKING FUCK YOU, YOU GODDAMN DISINGENUOUS, WOMAN-HATING BASTARDS. "Can't we love them both?" No, you fucking assholes, you can't, but it doesn't really matter if you could, because the great majority of you don't even…
