Trust me (from experience), it's uncommon enough in a LOT of states that people think it's illegal. I'm in Kansas now, but I've had people approach me asking if it's legal for regular people to open carry in Kansas, Ohio, Washington (state), and Missouri.

Some of these are universal though, and would be a good thing for us carriers to take note of and possibly change. For example, after reading this infographic I've realized that I do tend to bring my weapon-side away from anyone when I'm approached by someone. This comes from the instinctive habit of ensuring that you

To piggy-back (and clarify): Open carry is legal in 44 states. Open carry is legal WITHOUT A PERMIT in 30 states, while 14 states all open carry as long as a person has a permit. Only 6 states (California, Texas, Florida, Illinois, S. Carolina, and New York) prohibit the open carry of handguns under any circumstances.

While effective, this is oftentimes illegal... Just so you know.

Probably not to nearly the same degree as the coffee pop makers, but you would still have plenty of contaminates on the mechanism of the Keurig that involves replacing the coffee cartridges and the buttons on the front. If you load the water yourself (no reservoir), then that's going to include the virus as well.

I know what you mean, I believe there is an Xposed module that gives you similar functionality. At least I know there's a way to make it unlock if you're on a trusted WiFi network. The problem with the way you're describing (in my opinion) is that it makes for a less cohesive UX. When I had it set up that way, I was

For continuity's sake, and to make the phone/camera easier to reach, they changed the lock screen so that you always go to the same screen. So you go to the standard swipe screen, swipe up to unlock, and then type in your PIN.

You can re-enable the lock screen just by tapping the lock icon when you turn the screen back on.

You can *very easily* lock it again even when connected to a trusted device too. Simply click the small lock button at the bottom of the lock screen and it will require the user to input the PIN/password next time it's turned on!

Man, those are the worst. I've since switched to a filter that puts them straight in my trash folder! #ProblemSolved!

Yeah, then again, it turns out that Apple isn't going to sell the display solo, so there's really no way for a high-spec'd PC user to take advantage of the 5k display unless they buy the Dell. Of course, Dell can expect plenty of flak for trying to offer the same resolution display as an entire computer for the same

Ahhh, gotcha. Thanks for clarifying!

Also, students and military can get this for only $2299 before tax. $200 off is pretty damn sweet!

Well, the Dell display isn't even for sale yet, unless I'm mistaken. While the iMac just got revealed, a person can get it at the doorstep inside of 2 days... I'd say that's beating the pants off of Dell. Then there's the fact that the 5k iMac has a computer attached at roughly the same price as Dell's monitor by

The way Mac scales the display resolution, it will look pretty normal (in terms of text and window sizes). However, the text will be MUCH more clear than any normal monitor, and high-resolution images will show up with crystal-clarity.

When I bought my rMBP (my first/only Apple product), I didn't care so much that it

I don't know man, these things get put into development for a long time before release. Bendgate started, what, 4 weeks ago? There's no way that Apple had the time to completely change their R&D and manufacturing plans in that short of a timespan.

I disagree... Web browsing on a retina display is noticeably better than browsing from a non-retina. The smoothness of text and vectors makes it look immaculate next to a plain-jane monitor. Having a rMBP at home and a dell 1908FP (1280x1024) at work makes my work PC feel like a CRT monitor from 1998...

Outdated? Shit, you can turn around and resell the thing a year later and get 75% of your money back... Apple products are probably the best electronics for "upgrading" in the sense of selling your old hardware and buying the newer version for a pretty small different in price!

Really? The rMBPs can't push to that size display? Do you have the specs for this DisplayPort version?

I realize that a lot of people are going to be bursting at the seams with distaste for the cost of this thing, but here's something worth noting:
