I did have one point where I realized that the preview hadn't been configured to seek time from the network, so it just ran off of an internal clock that was WAY off, but that was a custom ROM based off of Android L Preview and probably just a setting that someone mistaken disabled.

I have the L Preview on my Nexus 5 right now. It runs really well. In fact, as much as I miss the Xposed framework, it's definitely worth the switch. Especially now that Hangouts has integrated gVoice, since XVoice+ was the one thing I missed most after updating to the preview.

Yeah, laptops are much better for environment you be typing a lot. I have a Nexus 7 tablet that i basically only use when i travel, since i get such great use out of my MacBook. Definitely a one or the other kind of thing for most people.

Toshiba's got a very solid build quality, and they've been great about the hardware. Apparently all of that work still isn't paying off as well as they'd hoped, though. It does have a very unibody-like appearance, which I like.
