You are assuming that Uber pays the drivers a decent per mile rate in the first place.  I used to drive Uber and enjoyed it, but at just base rates, it wasn’t worth it.  I counted on a good surge ride every now and then to help offset those low fares.  Without them, it’s not worth it.

My 74 Grand Am that I have owned for 15 years.  The restoration has aged enough I need to go back and re-do a few things, but I will never get rid of this car.  And my kids will fight over it when I am gone.

What difference does it make? A forever car is a very personal thing, and this car, while it might be a somewhat odd pick, is actually pretty cool in its uniqueness, condition, and background story.

While aftermarket Tubine wheels would look great, I don’t think they were offered on the C3.  There were some great looking finned wheel covers or the Chevrolet Rally Wheel if I’m not mistaken.  NP if you can do much of the work yourself.
