I have sound issues as well, but it seems to be a loading problem as after about 10secs it plays all sounds it should have already played, and from then on plays normally. So just wait a few secs and it should play normally :)
I'm using chrome and an adblocker by the way.

.. Which is certainly not really that big of a deal in comparison to the rest of the Oculus Rift - centered reworks needed to port a game.
I've already made a few prototypes for/with the Oculus, including menu's. It's really easy to just implement it in the 3D worldspace instead of drawn over it afterwards.

These exact levels and type of controls were already shown over a year ago with the Razer Hydra. For pc this is Hydra exclusive as far as I know, and it's one expansive piece of equipment if you ask me.
