I bought an iA late last year and was wondering this. Though I tend to drive my cars until they no longer run so this probably isn’t very applicable to me anyway.

Had a ‘99 New Beetle. I had to replace the front seat (not electric - warranty covered) and a windshield wiper motor (not covered). I’ve never had to replace stuff like this in any other car -some real crappy ones too- that I’ve ever had. VW - never again.

I had a car with a non working defroster and I had to chip the ice off the inside of the windshield periodically as I was driving one horrible winter trip. Fun times.

Driving back to Syracuse from New Paltz. My mom had picked me up from college and we were on I-87N headed home in blizzard like conditions. Visibility was about 10 feet and I had my head out the window giving my mom directions as to where the edge of the road was. We averaged about 10-15mph much of the way.
