Here is a compromise: reverse the coverage entirely. Take all the engineering details and r&d coverage, and televise that. Make it the main event. Have it narrated by, like, David Attenborough.
Then, when the races happen, post the results to the same dorky message boards where we have to go to get juicy facts and…

It is even easier not to bring those bags into the house in the first place.  Branded reusable shopping bags are $1 at most stores.

It takes a minimal amount of water to rinse most containers. Especially milk, juice and water soluble products like pasta sauce and mustard.

We’ve seen this in NJ, too...starting in January our town’s recycling contractor limited plastics to those marked 1 and 2...the rest have to be trashed. Incidentally, our general trash is trucked to a nearby Covanta owned incinerator, which I have mixed feelings about.
