Probably not 7% now. That’s why I keep significant cash in reasonably high yield savings along with other investments in stocks. Relying on just the markets to generate interest is a fools move.  

If some dealer or manufacturer is offering 0% for 84 months, they are making extra money on the car somewhere (above MSRP).

These are probably the same people that struggle to afford a $500 emergency that comes up.

Neutral: I’m WFH doing 30% of what I typically do with just a temporary 20% pay reduction, I’ve got Animal Crossing, plenty to watch on TV, more than enough food and most importantly (besides being healthy) I have enough of a particular green plant to keep me happy for a long time.

Maybe, but in the long run it isn’t cheaper and that’s why self driving trucks will be a major thing in 10-15 years.

They already have this figured out.  People in remote stations can patch into a self driving truck like a drone operator does.  They can take the controls and drive the truck remotely when these situations occur.
