I don’t particularly like drinking water. I don’t dislike it, either, but I’m not very motivated to bring a water bottle with me or refill one I might have. If there’s even a little bit of flavor to what I’m drinking, I’m a lot more likely to remember to keep hydrated.

I hate drinking water too. I don’t know why, it’s just unappealing. So I drink it cold, with a straw and a slice of orange or lemon or lime in it. I would still rather drink anything else, though.

UK Update:

The National Park Service’s requested budget for 2018 is $2.6 billion. That’s a 12 percent reduction that would lead to the loss of more than 1,200 full-time jobs and have major negative impacts across the system. If you take their revenue projections for the increased fees at face value, this increase is projected to

Zinke is a monster and this is retaliatory. Also, it’s hugely suspect that a two-person company from his hometown, one his son did work for, just won a $300 million dollar contract doing Puerto Rico’s electrical grid when their previous largest project was a few miles of line.

Could be playing the long con, trying to make the Parks too expensive as a way to drive down attendance and manufacture an excuse to dismantle them, while also having fewer Americans experience them and making them more susceptible to “why should we care about this dumb thing” propaganda so we don’t object when they

I’m glad she said that. Now we can drag Melania’s racist elitist ass down the cobblestone steps of what should be called Hillary Clinton Way. A route First Ladies are supposed to be protected from.

I hope this emergency funding plan by Murray and Alexander goes through. Otherwise, the biggest insurer in the country is going to be Go Fund Me.

Yeah, I’m pretty pissed at him. We—Californians, as a state—pay an inordinate amount in taxes to the federal government relative to many other states, so we deserve aid and a few kind words regardless of ideological differences. Do we hate him? Yes (excepting the dust bowl parts of the central valley). Are we still

UK Update:

No one understands.

“The Fake News Is going all out in order to demean and denigrate! Such hatred!”

Ahh Kim Davis. A person who protested at work. And the R’s cheered that on. But an NFL player protests at work, and they are a traitor.

“An army of lobbyists will come to protect special interest provisions and to derail tax reform,” Ryan said in a speech at the Heritage Foundation. “When it does, we must be able to count on the foot soldiers of the conservative movement to see this through.”

Heh, because white people marching into the country in no way contributed to the current situation.

As a goal for HOW to live your life, it has some good points, as most religions do.

You are devastatingly correct on this.

And after thousands of people are dead and the killing tapers off, we’ll all read long-form pieces in The New Yorker about this, Netflix will produce a documentary on it, and a movie about it will win an oscar and everyone will say “Never again...”

This reminds me so much of the bullshit that went on in Iraq during G.W.’s regime. If you protested the war you were supporting the terrorists and “insulting our troops”, but the fucking administration (and their Republican allies) were perfectly fine sending our boys out with shitty body armor and unarmored vehicles

Just in case this didn’t crop up here before now.
