It might not be hard for a mature professional... but what’s in it for me? Making your company better? I’ve already given up on your company. At the point of leaving, I just can’t be bothered.

I’ve long said that no one will mistreat you faster/more deeply/more thoroughly than family will; If working at a business that touts it “family” nature... the boss wants everyone to be “family”... just means that they want to treat you like family (ie badly). Do not walk away ... RUN FOR YOUR LIFE.

Unless, as an employee, you don’t value your time, both at work & at home.

I find it interesting how small developers create a product they’re pasionate about (probably) & then, all too often, sell it to some huge monster company (MS, Google, Yahoo!(-in it’s day), ...) only to see its features absorbed by another product or just out-right killed off.

As I see it my choices are 1) pay 100$ for 100 channels when I watch 10 of them or 2) pay 100$ for the 10 channels I do watch & want to see....
