I guess the only thing left I'm confused about is this. If she used Barry as a psuedonym for someone and just didn't mention it, fine... I guess. But did she know there really was a Barry in her year at school, who was also a Republican and a few other details existed that people could point to Barry? Was she talking

Damn. So instead of a joke I was hoping he had written some long statement explaining to them why their system was vulnerable or something.

First of all, that thread is total nonsense. And second, how was I supposed to know this whole time thats what you were talking about? Many others, right here in this same comment section have been talking about "always on" meaning, on... period. Never off.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he was going kinda quick.

No no. Some, maybe not you, but many who are calling for "always on" mean... always. Never off. On the entire shift.

"I don't know this guy" "Don't touch this guy" "Under arrest for what?"

Meanwhile, people in maryland routinely get arrested for speeding and DUI, possibly 3 times the legal limit and they end up getting.... nothing. No nights in jail, probation before judgement. Happens all the time.

The CSR's are not being audibly and visually recorded at all times. They aren't on the phone all day either. Making this "always on" argument is going to make police unions fight it, and most likely win.

Nope. Wrong. I've worked CSR, retail, and ambulance. You're not being monitored video and audio throughout your entire shift. That's absurd. You might be on video when you're on the sales floor, but not audio. And you aren't being monitored while you take a break. Ambulance drivers are certainly not monitored audio

"I bet there are a whole lot of people who, the moment they get into their car cuss out their boss/co-worker/job/etc for hours."

Uh yea? and what about when you're not on the phone? What about when you're using the rest room? Can you put the phone down and whisper to your boss privately or to your work buddy?

Who among us would sign up to be audibly and visually recorded throughout our entire work day?

"Step 2: Make it illegal (read: they would serve jail time and be fined) for any officer outfitted with such a camera (a small fraction of police will be wearing these, remember) to fire their weapon while the camera is off."

Here's my question about police and body cameras. Are they allowed to turn them off? Like if they are in the office chatting with their co-workers, working on reports, or talking to their spouse or what have you.

Yea but that assumes you have the $4,000 and haven't spent it somewhere else, since you don't have a car payment.

Its easy to say "don't blow your money on car payments" but the economics of cars can get dicey.

Yea good luck with that.

"But I can't argue with reading a script that says "Owen revs up his bike and takes off in the woods, his loyal raptor pack screams and runs at his side." I mean that's fucking great, I just don't know how I'm going to believe it. "

"You can see the scale of it by looking at the tiny Tony Stark sitting there comfortably"

Not saying they should. I'm sure it will be a hit. Doesn't mean it looks good either.
