The game isn't too hard to learn. It's actually one of the easier strategy games to learn. The difficulty comes from RNG and making decisions (even though you can run into the same dialogue choices, the results are random.)

I can tell you by the time you are down with your first play through you will have it down. I jumped into it from word mouth and love it.
Each play through lasts at most 1.5 hours, and you can probably learn the entirety of the game in one run.
this years steam summer sale is lackluster at best. all the groups i vote for arent being selected and even then the sale prices have been better in years past. Fallout New Vegas has been on sale countless times at 75% and this time it hits flash as a 66%? pft.
Well maybe if they resurrected Time Splitters they wouldn't be in this mess. :p

You couldn't resist the insult, could you? Says more about you than it does about my choice of computer, really.

Is there a way, in Steam, to get a list of all the Mac-compatible games that are part of the Summer Sale?

I don't game on PC. I need a Mac for work, and am not inclined to A. put Windows on it/try and fit it for gaming or B. buy a second computer for gaming (way more than $500).

o.O. You take this article about Facebook likes serious? Think you should worry for yourself and not "fanboys".
It's fun to read articles before trying to understand them
Should I be worried that my current state of occupancy and future state are both tied? What does that say about me as a person? I think I'm having an existential crisis. Yep. Definitely an existential crisis.
No mention of the depressing atmosphere in Portal 2? I actually didn't like Portal 2 because of that. The first game wasn't so bad in that regard, but the second game was just... bleak. Definitely had some negative vibes from that one.
I'd call Portal 1 but not 2 a classic
Yes memorable, I don't believe in "instant classics". That's all BS to me. A classic is something that really stands the test of time and as these games haven't had the chance to stand the test of time, calling them "classics" is marketing or just disingenuous.
You're confusing classic with old.
I don't think Portal or Portal 2 has entered the realm of "classic" just yet.
