Are you seriously accusing people who only like sports games and AAA shooters of burying this industry? Let people enjoy what they want man! I don't get this black vision we have of the industry (yes, a lot of things are wrong). To me it just means that gamers are getting older and grumpier. We still get amazing,…
I haven't bought a COD game since Black Ops, but I did enjoy the ones I played. It's still the best gunplay in the genre, the campaign is fast and to the point, with thrilling set pieces, the multiplayer is a blast to play. I bought AW on release day and I'm having a blast with it. The new "gimmicks", weapons and…
Here in Portugal you're starting to get more and more preorder deals that give you the final game at a discount price. I bought COD AW with a 20% discount (when a launch game goes for 70€, it makes a difference). I guess it's a way for local retailers to fight against online importation. I was always against…
This is insane, I mean, it's INSANE!!! Right?! Like them or not, Rockstar are incredible developers! I'm curious to hear reactions from long-time GTA players.
That's exactly how I did it!
Touché!
if it makes you feel any better, I passed that on first try
You're opinion is exactly like mine! And like you, this will be my first COD since BO1, I'm actually excited to play it tomorrow! I hope it's good ;)
The multiplayer is the essence of the game and what adds value to it. That being said, I always enjoy COD's single player for what it is. It's a fast paced campaign, with very solid mechanics, incredible set pieces and a nice little background story (not so different from a summer blockbuster). And I don't care that…
Maybe you just couldn't find the stereotype :P But it exists.
I used the rest mode last night with no problem whatsoever, but it sucks for those affected :/
I really like the gameplay on TLOU, but to each his own :)
I think you're making some confusion about what I'm saying. I was talking exclusively about movies. When it comes to games I prefer the 60fps option. When it comes to movies, I think they're fine the way they are now, at 24fps.
I saw it, but Avatar is a different thing, the problem lies when you mix live action with CGI effects
Regardless of what he said or how he said it, I still stand by what I said and I do believe that movies are good as they are and won't change in the short term. And I do believe that there's a loss in the "cinematic feeling"
Great video ;) And yes, the difference is obvious (saying it isn't is just a lie)
I don't see that changing in cinema anytime soon. 24fps looks good! Like Velduanga said, higher framerate gives a cheaper look to the movie (specially one relying heavily on CGI). Now, for games it's a different talk altogether.
Yup, TLOU on ps4 was the game that made me realize that yes, 60fps over 30 is something important and that directly impacts the gameplay and the joy you get playing. It's definitely a great game made better, and the multiplayer kicks some major butt!
Some times you pc guys try way too hard...You're missing out on some great games, TLOU being one.
