The hacks occur from an outside source, not directly at Blizzards database or website. They can come from Emails sent to you that look legit, addons for the game, bad passwords, etc.

Ok thanks. Was the server on a standalone machine or was it on a machine that you used to play the game as well? I was able to set up the server on one of my computers, but never really did much with it afterwards. The only experience I have setting up any type of server deals with setting up a web server.

This is pretty cool. I read the article yesterday about how nice this game looks and I agreed from looking at the screenshots. I just assumed that the game wouldn't make it's way over to the US. I'll have to keep an eye on this game.
