That’s a great tip about verbalizing it to yourself. To me, that’d be akin to annoying myself by talking to much about it to myself. Then being self-aware tells me that’s how others might see it as well.

You grind for mods for gear and weapons that you also have to grind for; for a character you have to grind. You then have to grind for weapon enhancements/boosts/buffs. Some of it coincides with other grinding, some not.
