Garbage storytelling is putting it mildly.

I could understand an indie or smallish development studio launching exclusives, they don’t always have the manpower to develop for multiple platforms, but a behemoth like Square can actually afford it and a huge game like FF will surely make some money on Xbox.

I actually like it. I was planning (and saving!) To get a Series X on launch date but will settle for this one. I don’t really care about 4k and 300 bucks is a very attractive entry point for a next gen system.

I haven’t bought a physical game since early 2017 so the loss of a disc drive won’t bother me and I don’t care about 4k (although I have a 4K TV)

It’s my most played game this generation at almost 5 days (not a lot compared to some people out there... but still).

If they did and then they arrange a new deal to extend an expiration date, people who buy a game thinking it would leave gamepass only to be met with a surprise announcement that the date would be extended would feel cheated.

I played a LOT of Faxanadu when I was a kid but I never got to beat the game. It was too hard for preteen me. I remember the jumps being a bitch to pull of, like the majority of NES games...

Sony paid Bungie for advertisement rights to Destiny. Can’t remember if it was for 1 or 2 but none of the ads mentioned Xbox and there were quite a few memes about it like Microsoft releasing a perfume to advertise it and getting shut down lol.
