Thank you! I used to go to the county fair in my area, but have never been to an honest-to-goodness state fair. I’m guessing there are animals, agricultural exhibits, crafts, rides and lots of food?  If so I am marking my calendar.

Years ago my roommate’s boyfriend moved in and so did his giant rottweiler. He was very friendly and sweet with the bf around, but if I was home by myself and tried to leave, he would explain (by snarling) that I was not allowed to go and herding me away from the door. Neither roomate nor bf took the issue at all…

My cousin, a very sweet dude who isn’t the sharpest tack, got very large, realistic portrait tattoos to honor our grandmother and uncle on his chest, basically right on each pec. He recently got engaged and I keep thinking that the poor woman he is marrying has to stare at my grandma and uncle every time they get busy…

She’s using her natural gifts for the greater good here :)  I listened to the audio and died when the interviewer asked if she would help T with his sartorial issues and she said, “I think he is unlikely to call”.    She avoided even referencing the names of the current first family.  It’s truly masterful.  

I have to agree with Leo on this one.  If you want to be an actor, shouldn’t you study the art form at least a little?

I had similiar experiences in middle and high school.  Truly, it is a  form of terrorism.  I hope that subsequently you have recieved love and support and are having a wonderful life.   And may that boy reap what he sowed.   

That is horrifying.  Did this happen recently?  Did your parents get involved?  

It’s a weird thing about babyboomers.  Many of them are totally comfortable making ethnic jokes and insults in a way anybody younger would never dream of doing!   My mom’s friends used to make Polish jokes around her and it was “all in good fun”.    I am not exusing the behavior and think it is one of those werido…

I hope you are right.  One of my 40something friends just told me she wants to be an influencer and I died a little inside.  

I cried on the treadmill several times.  And also made the gym change the channel that was on Fox News.    

ConEd has been making repairs on my block that were supposed to take only a month for nearly a year now.  Finally I made the switch to a garage because parking was getting so stressful.  I was able to find a “cheap” garage at $300 a month through Parking Hero.   It is all so hard.

I identify with the person in the back who is dressed not like the rest of the group and doesn’t know the steps.

I’ve never co-habitated with a male partner and having to share a bathroom is one of my greatest fears.
