You had the right take.  Also, yikes!

I was thinking the same thing about American Beauty.  When I was a kid I identified with the stick-it-to-the man schtick of Kevin Spacy’s character.  But now, he just seems like a creepy ahole who doesn’t care about his family and pervs on little girls.

I work in a male-dominated industry and moved to the client relationship side of things about 5 years ago. Since then I have had to take part in endless conversations with my colleagues about which companies are doing well/poorly, who got a new job etc. Over work dinners or other semi-social occasions when I would

God that picture of him grabbing her upper arms is disgusting.  It’s too bad about what she has become, but I feel bad for the little girl.

I’m guessing that her parents were Rainbow Brite fans when they were kids.

My biggest issue with the new Star Wars movies is miscasting him as Han and Leia’s child. There is no way they would have such a creepy, non-charismatic whiner as a kid. Also, I can’t stand his voice (or, obviously, his face). I’m annoyed that I’m supposed to find him attractive when he is not attrative. Women are

Indeed.

My main takeback is that this staff is so terribly young. Terribly, terribly young.

I 100% relate and really commend you for giving your old friend a happy retirement. There were many times when I struggled keeping my guy too, but I think it’s what you sign up for when you buy them. It really bums me out when I see how many people are selling 15 year old horses, which seems to be the Jane Austen

That is very good advice and I hadn’t heard it before (about barbituates and getting up). I’ll definitely remember that.  And thank you for the well-wishes.   Are you still involved with horse stuff?

Mine is 29 and so far, he’s in great shape (just needs maintenance for arthritis) but I worry that I’ll be travelling for work when the time comes.  I’ve told my barn manager that if worse comes to worse, it’s more important that his suffering be relieved.  I hope I’ll be able to be there too though.  Sorry to hear

I’m not certain if this post was meant to be sarcastic, but losing a horse is more like losing a family member than losing even a dog or cat. One day I made a detailed mental plan on how to handle it when it’s time for my older guy to go so that I don’t do something stupid that causes him to suffer more for my

I have friend my age (44) who literally will not stop saying that, even though all of her relationships have been at minimum, emotionally abusive. It’s Stockholm syndrome and drives me nuts. She recently moved and can’t figure out why she can’t make friends with dudes like she did when she was the little sister of a

Look, humans can be a bleak lot, but not everyone is an asshole. A fair few men are quite a bit better than that, and the others should be expected be. I’m nearly 44 and am finding that the more I deeply respect myself, the more men sense it and don’t mess with me.

Brilliant!

I once had a date suggest that we be fuck buddies until I lost enough weight to be his GF. He felt I was pretty enough, but not thin enough. But since the dude had obviously had full fledge narssistic personality disorder, it was great that he revealed the level of crazy very early. I hope you fled your nightmare date

“Sounds about white”. Michael Harriot, please always keep writing. You’re a treasure, truly.

Fair enough--apologies for the presumption.  And 100% agreed on the autoplay.

I’m going to gently disagree with you there. There’s nothing wrong with being a virgin, but great sex does involve knowing your body, and knowing how your body works in certain situations, and also how to take into account someone else’s body and learning what you like over time, as well as what you need to feel safe

Yes, I was trying to articulate why they look so weird and you articulated perfectly. I have a big butt but also big thighs as God (and a life-long love of carbs) intended.
